I would like to make a public apology to all of the people in attendance of the second service, last Sunday, at Cedar Home Baptist Church. Yes..........I am the owner of the horse (my phone) that let out a very LOUD whinny, right in the middle of Pastor Dan Hallocks prayer!!! That would be a NOT very technical person, trying to live in the age of technology. Oh.......but it gets even better. Afraid to put my phone in a very hot black car, for fear the heat would ruin it;(after I returned from a brief nervous giggle fit outside) I sat nervously with the phone in my purse on airplane mode. After giving this some thought, I decided just to shut it off. Not wanting to create yet ANOTHER disturbance, I decide I can just do that from my seat and not have to slip out. My now, some what sweaty fingers fumbled with the tiny phone with the too small key pad for my over sized phalanges.......yep....I hit the very sensitive spot on the screen and the next sound you hear.....RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF CHURCH, would be this SIRI CAN NOT TAKE ANY DIRECTIONS AT THIS TIME. Are you kidding me? At first I just froze. My brain couldnt comprehend that I could repeat this offense. Then I came to realize that this might be the snowball down the hill that just wouldnt be stopped......I had to leave. Not sure if I should laugh or cry......I MISSED communion to stand on the sidewalk of shame. (A special thanks to Jason Chollar for the free tutorial following the service. GOOD GRIEF!!! Where grace abounds....... thank you, Cedar Home Baptist, for not locking the doors. : )
