I would like to make a request to those that have lost loved ones to suicide (no matter the relationship….it can also be a friend or someone you know at any age). I am going to make another blog on WordPress (while keeping the one I have as well). But what I want to do is have it as a memorial to those we have lost to suicide. What I would like to do is have those of you that have lost someone to suicide (if you choose to do this) to post or send by email to me, their name, picture and date of birth and death at least. But what I would also like, if you feel comfortable, is to write what your relationship to them is, and it would be an extra good thing for you to write some things about them. This could range from a small amount of information or all the way to several paragraphs, whichever you would like. This will be done in good taste, and in no way glamorizes suicide (can that even be done?) it is only meant as a memorial and to honor those we have lost. Each picture and description sent to me will be in its own separate post so there’s plenty of room for all the info you want to send me for it. But if you only want to send the bare information, that is ok to, whatever is comfortable for you. You have no idea of the amount of pictures and stories I have received in my email or on Facebook and other places of people that have taken their own life. Happy pictures all the way to seeing sadness in their eyes. For each one I cry and say a prayer. Though it makes me sad, it’s important for me to show the world how wonderful these people are and the beautiful lives taken by depression, bipolar disorder, any mood disorder, or traumatic event in their lives. But I will not post them on the blog until I get permission to do so even if they were sent to me privately before. I will wait to see if I get anyone that wants to do this before I create my new blog. I want to honor our children, friends, siblings, grandchildren, mothers, fathers in this way and I hope many of you will be able to do this. Thank you.
