I would like to officially say thank you to all my volunteers who assisted in the election campaign for Gembrook. At this stage we are proud to say we are at approximately 10% margin, an increase of nearly 1.7% on the 2010 result. We should be proud of this. Can I thank all the candidates who nominated, it is difficult to nominate for public office and criticism of your values. To have a successful democracy we need to have people who stand for their beliefs. Thank you to Collin Ross, Michael Schilling and the other 5 candidates for a good campaign. In the next 4 years my prioity is to continue to work for the communities I represent. Thank you all for this privilege to be your voice. I will not let you down.
