I would like to out a few rumors to rest. Twelve days ago, after attending the AKC show, our four month old pointer puppy (who was not being show ) fell ill with diareaha and vomiting. She was taken to an Edmonton vet Clinic where she has remained in ICU fighting for her life. We got the news on Sunday that she is recovering. Multiple snap test for parvo were done and we did not get a diagnosis as to what she had other than it was viral. We do not or have not had any other sick dogs. Surly we are not the first people to have had a puppy get sick after a dog show? I made a previous public post to get the facts out there. If anyone has any concerns regarding my dogs, please address them to me. These dogs have been judged at two separate shows since Peanut Butter fell ill and there has not been a single whisper. Now that we are returning home, without said dog, the rumor mill starts running. Classy folks.
