I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you folks that made it out to the Dedication of the Freedom Rock this morning. For those of you that werent there or just couldnt make it ther3e is a surprise in the Rock An Army Ranger from Knoxville, Vietnam Vet, Purple Heart, Bronze Star adn several other medals, HIs Name was Clifford DeMoss. Cliff Passed away in Aprilof 2010. I was privileged to be in the Honor GUard. We asked for and was granted Permission from the family to use a part of Cliffords ashes in the painting of the Rock. I like to think that Clifford did his patriotic duty once and now he is back doing the same for our memorial. Again we still have Lots more things to do and we are selling hat pins for $3.00 to help us put up a walkway, a few bnches and a flag pole. Pins are on sale from Any AMVET member or though the Main Street Market on the square just ask Elsie and thank you to Dave Loebsack who sent a nice letter, AMy Sincair and Greg Heartsill for their presence and of course TO ALL THE VETERANS!
