I would like to personally thank the brothers of BMR ATL for their acts of kindness this weekend at the Hot Chocolate 15k. Thanks to gk Smith for not only picking up our race packets, but having them at hotel before we arrived. We were really thankful when we were delayed by MARTA 30 minutes, that further explains why we missed the group pictures. You guys show the real meaning of brotherhood. I have been only running for a year now. I ran my first race in February of 2014, the Mercedes half marathon with a 9:46 pace and a time of 2:07:49. This was my introduction to the BMR brotherhood, and BMR Birmingham was birthed from this race. I have watched many of you via social media and I have learned so much. I ran my second race in November 2014, Magic City half marathon with a time of 1:37:10 with a 7:24 pace. I am proud to say that I ran my third race today in Atlanta with some of the greatest guys this side of heaven. Lol. I had a great time today and this has been the best race experience that I have had in my short career. I had a great race today until there was a major collision on Techwood, me and that Damn hill. I was pacing about 7:13 up until this point. That hill is from satan. I am proud to say that I finished 6 seconds behind Ameer Warwick with a time of 1:08:27 with a pace of 7:21. I finished 108th out of 7483 overall, 85th out of 1877 male, 17th out of 314 in the 40-44:age group. I am thankful for the opportunity to represent the brand at all times. I try to lead by example while occupying the position of Captain of our group. I am putting out an A.P.B to the running community to let them know that the takeover is real. Like Eight ball and MJG said Relax and Take Notes. Looking forward to seeing you guys at the race where BMR Birmingham was founded.
