I would like to report on our president and one of my best friends. As most know he became very ill and had to be put into the hospital Sunday. As the week has went on, Shep has received many meds, blood, and fluids. As of today, shep had surgery to repair artery stints in his neck. We had some time to ponder and talk this morning before surgery, and I assured him we would see him again soon. Well, surgery went well, but complications nearly took our dear shep early this afternoon when he wouldnt wake up from surgery. Many phone calls and text, and many hundreds of prayers went up for Shep. We were truly preparing for the worst when a miracle, came through a phone call from a nurse and said he was waking up, and vitals were becoming normal. From the longest day in a long time our stress level lifted and the sun shown through all the gloom we were feeling for a few hrs today. As of this evening, Shep is doing better and on his way to a long recovery, but a recovery. We are so blessed to have been given him back, and we love him dearly. We just thank god, it wasnt his time, and we can keep him with us a while longer. Thanks to everyone who were thinking about shep, and shared prayers for him. You truly mean a lot to Shep and us, and we truly appreciate each and everyone. Thank you and God Bless Chief
