I would like to retract a comment I made earlier this week during quite frankly a very unpleasant exchange with Steve Adelson. I wrote that Steve had never invited students from Long Beach High School to perform at his yearly Long Beach Jazz Festival and and I am sorry that I reported that because I had been given false information about that and I deeply regret posting that inaccurate comment. People that follow me know that I always try to stay positive but the bottom line is we are all human and in the heat of the moment we can say or repeat things that we live to regret. And quite honestly even if that comment was true I never should of repeated and posted it because negative comments like that dont serve and good purpose no matter how upset you are about something. So I would like to issue a apology to Steve Adelson and I certainly retract that comment about students performing at the Long Beach Jazz festival.
