The best compliment I got was from a fan from ATX that told me I never miss a BOH fight I have been to all of them and it get better every time I personally got asked many times why dont you just do fights in ATX you do so well there. My response: I got into promoting fights to empower the sport ATX has now many promoters since I started there are fights now almost every month I am happy to give others a chance, I will never go into a town to hurt a fellow promotion it does not help the sport no matter what you might hear I throw fights for the love of the sport as many haters as promoters might get we dont make any money it is extremely expensive to throw a fight, it is because we love the sport and the glory of combat. I went this last month through many personal losses including my sweet Lola, and all I could do is keep moving forward that has been my life lesson no matter how hard it gets just keep moving... regarding promoting honestly I can do better, I know I will, I just am going to go to the drawing board and solidify perfection. The State of Texas is going through changes and have new staff, new guidelines, new personal, so it was very challenging working with them this time around I am always grateful for them approving my shows and I thank my staff for being respectful and working together with them. I prefer to try and fail, to not try at all. I consider this event a success the fights like always where Magnanimous the essence of true combat.
