I would like to share a poem Cat wrote about Twist and her pasture pal of 20 years who died over a year ago: I was in lots of pain. Then this man came and stuck a needle in my leg. I fell asleep. After my slumber, I awoke. A puffy white cloud was beneath my hooves. Out before me lay grass as green as could be. The pain in my leg had stopped. Then, in the distance, I saw you. A bolt of excitement crept through my body. Soon enough, I was happily galloping over to you, my Star. We galloped, rolled, reared, bucked and grazed. It has been so long since we have last met. I was amazed. Now we are as happy as two horses could ever be. Now and for all eternity. R.I.P. My Beloved Twist 1983-2013 by Cat Catrina Guenther
