I would like to share one of my favorite quotes from an unknown author: Wisdom is the ability to listen and learn from the the mistakes of others without having to make the mistake yourself Mentors and parents have a wisdom, that even at our smartest, we wont have until we get there. Acts 26:14- God asked Saul Its hard for you to kick against the prick/goads isnt it? Catch the principle: I did a little research on goads-yahoo gave me this! You see, if the ox refused the command indicated by the farmer, the goad would be used to jab or prick the ox. Sometimes the ox would refuse this incentive by kicking out at the prick. As result, the prick would be driven deeper into the flesh of the rebellious animal. When we rebel, wont submit and are in our emotions we can make thing much harder for ourselves. Please please places Saints lets learn to listen to wisdom, stop fighting people that care about us and thank God for even sending wise counsel into out lives! Always ask God... Okay Lord, whats the wisdom Im supposed to learn from this? Its not always easy but its best for our making and growing!
