I would like to take a moment and say a proper Thank You for all the cards, food, words of encouragement, and prayers, hugs, and love for me and my family on the passing of my Dad on Nov 6, 2013. It means so much looking back on those days. A big Hug and love to Jim and Jeanette Spencer words cannot say enough Jim thanks for Organizing the Legion men at my dads service. Phillips Funeral Home in Massena NY for their excellent service to my family. To all my friends of plus years who stood with me in prayers and stayed up all night and played scrabble with me cause I could not sleep!...Thank goodness I can sleep now! I love you all. The passing of a parent is a mile stone in ones life to be sure but now a new life journey is on the horizon ready to begin! In lifes everyday moments when thinking of my dad theres still a tear, wishing to hear his voice one more time. This being my first birthday without him I felt a void wishing the front door would open for that kiss and hug! and I must admit my birthday presents Dad gave such good ones!! My sister Patsy this year took up the slack and did so wonderfully I Love You! and thanks for all you do for me! I am blessed To Be loved so much by family and a community of friends going back so many years! My Dad as you know was a World War II veteran and prisoner of war. I am proud to say he was buried in Dec in Arlington National Cemetery. He is buried near Gen. Patton and near the heroes of Pearl Harbor a place of honor. I salute you sir and proud of you Dad R.I.P. I would like to take a moment to offer prayers and warm hugs and love to friends who also lost a parent recently and those whose parent is extremely ill at this time I pray for healing and the gentle hand of recovery for them all.~ Bear with me on this grief journey each day is emotionally different and new but on a scale of 1 to 10 I am about a six!... I will get to the number 10 in time and life will go on with many life experiences to follow and look forward to. I am ready for SPRING with all of you lets share the love and companionship around! Have a great day!!
