I would like to take a second and thank all our friends and nieghbors for supporting our little farm, Farming is an incredible amount of work that is never finished, it just starts all over again. For those of you who dont know us, Dixie works full time for Harvest Supply a wholesale garden and landscape supplier in Ft.Worth. I work full time as a home repair / remodeler. Then we have Millers Home made Amish ice cream, we will do 12 to 15 events per year plus sell ice cream from the farm, we will make around 1000 gallons this year, We currently have some interest from a hotel owner in new england to franchise our ice cream there. We also grow a spring and fall organic produce garden to sell at our farmstand, this year along with the produce we will plant 12,000 strawberry plants and some rhubarb for a pick ur own patch this spring. We also have almost 20 bee hives to produce our own honey and have started on a peach orchard with 72 trees of various varietys currently producing, we also have over a hundred hens that keeps our neighbors in eggs. Turkeys, peacocks, goats, cows,and donkeys just for fun. Thanks to all who have helped keep us going by purchasing produce, honey, eggs or ice cream, we enjoy what we do and look forward to seeing our nieghbors at the farm
