I would like to take a second out my my day and remind you to appreciate the people you have in your life and dont take for granted the role the may play in your life... I have the pure privilege of finding out that I had a huge family on my mothers side that we did not know even existed until a few years ago. I have thought for most of my life that I was the last one of our blood line with my last name. And then one day my mother and her father find contact with each other which in turn provides everyone Involved with a TON of new family! Sitting at the head of this family is my grandpa...a ridiculously great man who produced a enormous amount of love and some of the best people I have ever met. Each and everytime I have the opportunity to visit, I do. And everytime I go up theres 8 new family member to meet! The best 4th of July I have ever in my life had was this past one in which I drove to P.A. to a campgroud that my family owns and both my son, my sister from Texas and even my sons mom steff spent the entire night surrounded by all this new love. My son had the absolute best time ever and it was also the first time my sons kom and I have ever been able to say anything more then kiss my ass to each other.... Well allot of people know that he has been wicked sick and tumors all over his body and brain. He finally got to the point where he refused treatment and simply wanted to be home with his family to enjoy his last moments here in peace. Last night hee was rushed back to the hospital in what I was told is excruciating pain...this trip to the E.R. is proving to be his last. I spoke my my mom about an hour ago and he has been unconscious since 1pm and he does not recognize the people around him or himself... I asked my mom if I could talk to him to at least say good by and let him know that one day I hope to stand tall overlooking the amount of love I have created exactly how he does and let him know how proud I am to have a grandfather and role model like I do. Well...I missed my opportunity so I am doing it here... I love you, I will miss you in ways I dont even know yet...and thank you for all you have done.
