I would like to take my hat off to Ericka Wharton M S and Latisha Howell for starting this amazing womens league! But, I am totally disgusted that these ladies are having a hard time keeping a field to play on. I dont know the ins and outs of what happened with the STATE hospital grounds, but I did here the false accusations of what supposedly happened at Eisenhower (PUBLIC GROUNDS). I dont understand how neighbors can have such power to have us removed from the premises when majority of us are tax paying citizens in this borough. No one is out there committing crimes or disrespecting anyones personal property. If the neighbors dont have anywhere to park, I believe that comes with the territory of living somewhere without private parking. If someone is blocking your driveway have the vehicle towed just as you would if the school was having an event and someone blocked your driveway. We have too many community leaders involved in this league to allow us to be pushed away so easily. This is our town and we need to stand up to any resistance. I say reach out to our borough officials and community activist and fight back with numbers! Call the Newspaper to cover this just like they covered it a few weeks ago.
