I would like to take some credit for the following: The Brewers Association, which represents small and independent craft brewers, said craft brewers sold 15.6 million barrels last year, a gain of 18% in volume and 20% in retail dollars, and are now up to a 7.8 share of the beer market. The association defines a craft brewer at 6 million barrels or less, with no more than 25% ownership or control by a larger brewer.
