I would like to take the time to congratulate the Clark County Commissioners on their fine work in the area of public safety. In 2012, there was one reported death on the strip as a result of being cut by broken glass. There has not been one death from broken glass since then, and with the addition of the latest ban on all glass containers, I think it is safe to say that if you are killed on the strip, it will most likely not be broken glass unless Metro and NHP change the type of weapon they use on law abiding civilians. Way to go government.
