I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Rob Boyette for his victory as County Commissioner for District 5. I am very appreciative for having had the opportunity to run for County Commissioner. It has been a great experience and has allowed me to work with many friends and new friends. The support from so many people like Roger Luther, Joe Hartsfield, Gary Proffitt, Chris Hill, Virginia Morris, Kathy Berrier, Brandon Scott, Cad & Karen Wilkinson, Dennis & Denis Winstead, and many others has meant so much. I have been blessed to have had a supportive family and to work for a company who has allowed me to pursue this opportunity. All the associates at Garris-Evans Lumber in Wilson have gone above and beyond to help me at times during my campaign, Without them I would not have been able to campaign as effectively. I am proud of the clean campaign that was run between Rob and I. Thanks again for anyone who contributed funding or volunteered their time. Although I may have lost, I have won in so many ways.
