I would like to take this time to clear up a few things about how I operate, and how other photographers operate. The majority of photographers charge $150 (or more) for a 30 minute session, typically limiting the end result to maybe 10-15 pictures. This is referred to as a mini-session . A full session (1 hour, around 15-30 pictures) run between $225-$300, which includes only a disc - no prints. These are just some examples of local pricing in the Kansas City area. This number can be signifigantly higher. I operate a different way: I do not set time limits. When you book a session with me, it will be as long as it needs to be in order to get the shots that you desire. I charge a set price that is WELL under the local rates, and I include all the best shots from the session on the disc- be it 10 or 60. I do this because I believe my clients deserve the best pictures I can provide to share with their families for a reasonable price. If what I do is not what you are looking for, please feel free to find a photographer that works for your situation. I simply want my clients to be thrilled with the pictures they get.
