I would like to take this time to honor my friend, Jeremy Dale who just passed away. Jeremy was a selfless man and a talented comic creator that took time out of his busy schedule to push me and make me a better artist and person. His critiques were encouraging, yet refreshingly eye-opening. Without his influence I dont know where Id be as a creator. Even after hed challenged me initially he continued to help me grow at our craft over the years. In fact, a few years after we met, Jeremy and I had a one-on-one draw-off at the SDCC for the movie ComicCon Episode 4: A Fans Hope. David Petersen and a few other great people served as judges for it, and even though it got cut from the final film, we still had a blast. Jeremy was such a humble fellow in the midst of it all. Every con we saw each other and he and Kelly were always such a friendly and uplifting team. I will miss you, Jeremy. We will do what we can to honor your vision for comics and support your family. If youre reading this and have not gotten into Jeremys creator owned series SKYWARD, I encourage you to do so. Lets keep his legacy alive.
