I would like to talk about this song. Its called Water For Children I never knew that so many radio stations would be interested in helping me raise awareness about the need for water solutions all around the world. The primary focus begins where the journey began for myself. A friend named Cierra Petersen told me she was going to Tanzania. I instantly questioned what Tanzania was like. I researched and found only 65% of those living in the best conditions have access to fresh water. I focused my efforts further. Cierra was on her way to an area near Dar Es Salaam. I researched what solutions could provide an answer for water problems. In doing so I found that the German Embassy was working toward the goal of a desalination plant. I contacted the German Embassy and spoke with the Ambassador. The German Ambassador at the German Embassy in Dar Es Salaam was able to answer a few of my questions. My primary question was; How do I get water to an orphanage without paying extremely high prices on shipping costs? I ran a contest and the found that sending a 12 pack of water to the orphanage from my home in America would cost 156 US dollars. The German Ambassador was kind enough to entertain my questions with direct answers that lead me directly to the source of water solutions. I spoke to a well respected representative of a water solutions company and found a way to reach the children Cierra tended to at the orphanage she visited. What started as a search to discover how I could best invest my own contributions when sending a 12 pack of water to a orphanage in need in Tanzania. I placed all the worry I felt for Cierra when making a decision to visit Tanzania. It takes a brave person to follow their heart with one mission in mind. Helping orphans in countries that need it most. My connections have provided me with the first step in a larger goal coming from what starts as a mission for raising awareness. I am hopeful that the reach of water solution efforts will be able to reach more of the demographic in need. Share this song and help #WaterForChildren Cierra is expected to return home any day now.
