I would like to thank Shawn Helbig and the FOP for their candidate forum Thursday evening. We each had a few moments to share our life works, leadership experience, what we have accomplished and what we offer the citizens of our respective areas. I appreciate everything those who Protect and Serve do every day of their careers. I realize that each and every intervention they perform has the potential to go very wrong for them and their families, and they can never predict that moment when things will escalate. Please consider the concentration and discipline this requires the next time you see an officer involved in some duty! Thank and support these public servants and their families every opportunity you can!
