I would like to thank all the people who voted for us in the Virginia Living “Best of Virginia” Issue. We placed in 4 categories, number one for Brunch, our 3rd year in a row. We also placed 3rd for “Best Steak House, Best Seafood and Best Overall Restaurant”. We could not have placed as well without all of the customer support you all have given us over the years. We will strive to improve and make it to number one in some of the other categories next year. Staunton did very well in all the categories, with Beyer’s Street Bistro, The Pampered Palate, Taste of India, Zynodoa, Massaki, Barking Dog, Shenandoah Pizza, Split Banana and Coffee on the Corner. All downtown dining makes Staunton a destination for Foodies. Kathy’s (2nd for Breakfast) and Peck’s BBQ (1st for BBQ), Newtown Bakery (1st Bakery) also won. Zynodoa and the Shack also got noticeable mentioned in the Shenandoah Valley opening page of Virginia Living. We all know Staunton is the “Friendliest City” we placed #1. This is just the restaurants; Staunton did very well in all categories.
