I would like to thank everyone for the love and support over the last few days, it has been quite a tough period. Dad collapsed on Thursday morning and was rushed into theatre with a perforated bowel. Because of the chemo he wasnt expected to survive the surgery but he did more than that and survived 2. His signs were good and has been awake since Friday night and talking since yesterday. He is looking stronger everyday and whilst he still has a tough road ahead his out look is getting more positive each day. He is passing the time by being a smart arse to the nurses, just like regular poppy. He is in Lyall Mac and would love a couple visitors later in the week if u wanted to.
