I would like to thank the 31-member delegation from Thailand who presented a bronze Buddha statue with other two statues of revered monks to Dichen Tashi Choling Monastery in Singtam, Darjeeling The delegation was led by Indian ambassador to Thailand His Excellency, Mr. Harsha Vardhan Shringla and Dr. Nalinee Taveesi, Former Minister attached to the Prime Ministers Office, Thailand. The delegation comprised of various serving and former Ministers and senior officials of the Royal Government of Thailand and leading Business people from Thailand. The GTA also gave a proposal to the delegation to the setup a Thai Monastery in GTA area .The GTA will also take up some joint projects on tourism with this delegation from Thailand.
