I would like to wish a happy birthday to my late Mother Grace Kollar. Born Nov 21, 1926 as Grace Audrey Wiseman, she married my father Eugene O. Kollar. They had 4 children together: Tom, Mike, Kathy and Lauri. Sadly, both Tom and Mike are now deceased. Mom left behind several grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. It was unfortunate she did not get to know them prior her passing. My Mother was a wonderful lady who not only taught me a lot, but others as well. She was known as Miss Betty Crocker by many by her scrumptious baking she used to do. Unfortunately I did not inherit that trait from her! I miss her immensely ever since she took her last breath at Fountainview Nursing Place after suffering 3 strokes back to back. I vividly remember receiving that anticipated phone call in the middle of the night from Foutainview telling me she took her last breath shortly after visiting her that evening. She couldnt speak in her final days, which I cant even fathom what that would be like. I know in my heart; however, that she knew I was with her in the end...even though I wasnt there that final moment. Here are a couple pictures of her...one on her wedding day and one the year before she passed away. I love you Mom and look forward until we meet again in Heaven. Happy Birthday! You are gone, but never will be forgotten. I love you!
