I would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to my great friend Ken Barthell. We have been playing music together since 1979, and he is responsible for SO many positive experiences and accomplishments that I have achieved during this time. While I was playing Top 40 music through the 60s, Ken was basically a Blues and R&B kind of guy. We have developed a deep groove together over the years. He has also added Swamp Pop to my repertoire. Did I mention that Ken is super vocalist, as well as a rocking guitar player? On a lighter note, I blame Ken for getting me involved in law enforcement, from which I recently retired. We worked together at Beaumont P.D. and also for Jefferson County. It has been a great ride, Ken. Im glad youre keeping the music alive. Did I hear youre putting the band back together? Oh, noooooo!
