I would like to wish a very happy new year to all our friends and supporters. 2014 was a difficult year in which my son tragically passed away and i want to thank all those who stood by me through the year and through these terrible events. Your support helped me overcome my pain and helped me grieve and i want to thank each and every one of you. For 2015, my greatest wish for Africa is to overcome the ebola crisis and to bring happiness back to countries like Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia. Also, recently there have been mounting tensions between different countries - most notably between the east and west - it is my wish that 2015 brings harmony to the world so we may repair some of the damage caused by bad feelings. On that note, I also want on congratulate Cuba and the United States for taking the first steps towards creating a better relationship and a better future. And, finally, i’d like to say a very happy new year and best wishes to all the team in the UK and of course the entire team in Senegal. #oxfam #unaids Keep up the good work! #ebola
