I would love to take this chance to invite you and your child(ren) to our November Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) meeting from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at the Babies Can’t Wait office in Cobb County. Special guest will be Santa! The children will get a chance to meet Santa and have photo opportunities in a family friendly relaxed environment. Santa will be present until 2 p.m. Our speaker for the event will be Lisa Nevitt, Lekotek of Georgia Cobb County leader. She will provide details and benefits of Lekotek, as well as information about play sessions and other special activities. Lekotek’s mission is to include children with disabilities into their families, schools and communities. For children with physical, cognitive and/or sensory disabilities, it’s a chance to play and learn using specialized toys and computer equipment. Please contact your Service Coordinator for more information or to let them know if you are interested in attending.
