I would never bring a fight or personal dispute to an ABKC event - TopicsExpress

I would never bring a fight or personal dispute to an ABKC event and expect the ABKC to support me on my bad decision. If I were to get into an incident at a show, whether i was right or wrong, the FIRST thing I would be doing is apologizing to the Community for putting them and their children at risk, along with the show host and the registry for my actions. i wouldnt expect the registry to just Get my Back because I have friends and think im above the rules... Sorry but that is an abuse of friendship and an abuse of power.. I would prefer my friend tell me im wrong then stand behind my wrong doings for the sake of friendship, I will still support my friend after making a mistake, but I wont pretend it never happened and they werent wrong in their actions. I learned a long time ago what being a bigger man is knowing when to walk away really means! The moment someone decides to be a lesser man and start a dispute with you in front of women and children in a public place, whether you can whip his ass or not, you should walk away! Because the Breed and community have more to lose than your petty dispute... Thats being the bigger man, your not a coward, you just have more values than the other party...... if you have a dispute with someone, handle it before or after the show not at or during, either handle it before walking through those doors or keep your distance and leave the person alone for the sake of everyone else at the show. To me its not an issue of friend or not friend, its an issue of right and wrong.. The moment you decide to get involved in an incident instead of walking away, you are wronging everyone at the show, the breed and the registry!
