I would never, ever trust a doctor who acted like Patch Adams in the movie. That movie is insanely horrible and a very bad influence, its even dangerous. It teaches us that laughter is more effective than medicine which is utter bullshit. The real Patch Adams is a great person, and he even said his portrayal by Robin Williams was terrible and completely inaccurate. I dont get how people say Patch Adams is a good movie. Its not only a very bad movie, its one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my life and Ive seen a lot of bad movies. This is a movie that should be banned and never ever taken seriously. If you decide that humor is more effective than medicine, the results will be disastrous.
