I would request everyone to read this for your own safety. Do read this till the very end, please dont stop and switch to something else. It will take just 1 minute. Can happen with anyone.. Hey, friends i just received a call in the morning from this no. +923044205796 some Pooja saying that she is calling from vodafone customer care in regards of a lottery amount in which they have selected 50 vodafone customers and she told me to call on this no.00923009068370, which turned out to be an international no. and the call was picked up by Rahul Sharma who introduced himself as an official of KBC, saying that i have won a lottery of Rs. 25 lacs. He told me to give him my account no. and said that today at 9:15 pm all the nos. who have won will be shown on sahara one/sony channel. He told me that on such a heavyamount a govt. tax is implied so, he asked me to transfer 25000-/- in one of their accountants bank account, named, Zafar Iqbal A/c no. 50100023095649 (HDFC) or Kefhaw Reddy A/c no. 22160100013306 (Bank of Baroda) and after transffering collect the slip from the bank and then call him, saying HELLO thrice and then within 15 min. i would recieve 25lacs in my account. and would recieve a call from Raj Sanjay Singhania said to be the chairman of KBC. I then cut the call and talked to the customer care about this, so they were like we dont know about all this and then later i recieved a call from his end. I questioned this guy a lot, and while talking i figured out that the caller is a fraud, just to extend the talk i told him i dont want the lottery money so he was like, you get the oppurtunity once in a lifetime so i was like there are a lot of loop holes in the information provided so he mailed me some form in regards to the lottery. His mail id [email protected] told him thanks i dont want the money.. So after this i googled and found a lot of complaints against this no. where the people had received calls from airtel and some had even transferred money but got nothing back and even checked at 9:15pm on television but there was nothing. I would request you to share it on your timeline, so that no one else gets caught in such activity. I feel sorry for the people who got caught in this but it can be stopped if more people are aware of it.. :) The code +92 is Pakistan international calling code and I narrowly missed being a victim of a huge scam involving Nigerians and Pakistanis. Everyone out there, be extremely cautious. Don’t take any call from numbers starting with +9234. They are targeting Vodafone and Airtel users.
