I would say 90% of the time, in my experience, destructive behaviors in dogs are caused by lack of exercise and stimulation. Most breeds of dogs were established to do a specific task or job for man. Its unfair to expect your dog that was originally bred to herd sheep or retrieve game to be perfectly content existing solely in your living room. Youd be surprised the transformation that happens when time and energy are put into an animal...look at my throw-away Pit/mastiff mix who was ready to be euthanized for behavioral issues. Thats a happy boy!!!
