I wouldnt be me if I didnt put out there that while I am delighted the awareness about breast cancer seems to be at an all time high, I feel the awareness campaign is beginning to be exploited. Im noticing retail companies using the month to lure customers into stores by indicating a portion of the proceeds will go to research, etc. Breast cancer certainly demands an audience but did you know that a woman in the United States is more likely to experience domestic violence than be diagnosed with breast cancer? The rate of women living with breast cancer actually perils to the number of women living in violent environments.
