I wouldnt count calories or try to add more low quality movement and reps to my work out. What I would tell folks to focus on, is: Stability, and the ability to hold strong positions. This can be accomplished through a myriad of possibilities. More bottoms up KB walks, off set (suitcase) carries, farmers carries, McGills big 3 (should be done daily by everyone), contra lateral pushing and pulling, etc. Make it a point to focus like hell and actually develop yourself/give yourself a chance to be a high performer 10 or 30 years from now :)
