I wouldnt mind paying higher taxes if all of these benefits were provided. Would you? Here is a quote from someone who lives in Denmark.. We like it this way it make sense to us Danes. We do pay a good portion to taxes (and a lot of it actually goes to preserve a strong military). But its all good - we have enough left to live Well and to travel in the six weeks of payed vacation (that the unions negotiated on our behafe)! We maybe a little country but we are one of the oldest democracies in the world. Maybe we learned something along the way. But feel free to do as you pleases in USA. I know I wouldnt trade place with you for al the money in the world;-)
