I wrote a book when I was 17. I had set out to write a story where the heroes do everything they can, but get the shit kicked out of them in the process. Similar to Indiana Jones. It was a science fiction novel called The Rogue Force Chronicles and it was about our Governments plan to assassinate an Alien ambassador and keep the Society a secret for as long as possible. As a teenager, my friends and I stumble into it and attempt to rescue our friend who falls into Enemy hands (The US Government) while battling not only other beings but humans as well. It was going to be a four part story arc. Where characters die, get hurt, wounded, murdered... just dont always win. I wanted to make it real. I was re-reading it and my age really shows through, its as if it was written by a 17 year old, but also the emotions I put into is really cool. Thinking about rewriting it. But I may not have the time.
