I wrote a little something that I thought I would share with you all.. (And then wrote another) But first a short explination why the first poem.. Ive said some angry shit that i shouldnt have, especially of late, not so much publicly on here, but believe me I have n for that ime sorry... now they say music calms the savage beast.... So does writn poems i rekn.. So I had a bit of a think about it and came up with this first one then another to "lightn the mood" .... Enjoy 󾌵 Driving a truck north on the black stuff of highway 95, It is dark.. Pissn rain and the headlights are up on high, The tunes are crankn.. The motor too n the uhf is turned down low, In the mirror on the right.. 18 sidelights beam out an orange glow, Thirty tyres making spray that reflect the tail lights red shine, All the while the music plays and the wipers are keeping in time, The mind is at piece in a way it hasnt been for seemingly an age, Instead of negative thinking some creative writing has soothed the internal rage, Lets work on and hope that the rage stays gone now for a long not little while, Listen to the music think of my children and my love for them and smile.... ---------------------------------- And this one.... Kangaroos are bouncn goats n cattle run too n fro, Roadtrain cumn look out now get out of my bloody road, Another night on the black stuff following white lines, Ime headn to the West Angeles iron ore mine, Two and a half trailers right behind me and 600 horses underneath, An auto gearbox attached to that means no chance of cleanin teeth, Comin up to Magnet soon, the Swagman Roadhouse so ile grab a coffee, Though more than likely ile camp there after a beer cause the clock is gunna stop me, Late morning ile be off again after a shower, coffee and some bacon, Yep, put the foot down and the lever back and some kilometers ile be makin.....
