I wrote a thank you letter to President Barack today. To make a long story short - On Tuesday April 1st, 2014 I felt lousy. On Wednesday,April 2, thanks to Obama Care and a system that works in North Carolina, I received my Blue Cross blue Sheild medical insurance card in the mail. On Thursday, I woke up in cold sweats with a 102 temperature, and doubled over in pain - by 10 pm that night I was in surgery, having my appendix removed before it burst. True story. My deductible is $500 and the total cost exceeds $22,000. I currently only have temp. employment and would NEVER have been able to pay for this surgery out-of-pocket. Thank you President Obama. I had no idea how voting for you would so directly impact my life!
