I wrote about the weaknesses of Democracy and how to overcome them, in my popular essays and columns in top newspapers like Dainik Asam, Dainik Janambhumi, Agradoot, Assam Tribune and many others almost 15-20 years back, which are still relevant. Ultimately, one of my long standing RECOMMENDATION of introduction of Negative Voting in order to REJECT ALL PROSPECTIVE UNWORTHY CANDIDATES had been accepted by Honble Supreme Court, and Election Commission also introduced this Option to voting populace from the last round of elections. So, you cant say any longer that voting public does not have any choice. If they start rejecting the unworthy candidates with overwhelming majority, only then worthy candidates would emerge. But, my Question still remains unanswered in the proper context--- ARE THE VOTERS READY TO EXERCISE THEIR RIGHTS TO CHOOSE THEIR WORTHY REPRESENTATIVES??????
