I wrote on this precisely 3 days ago! Look for yourself: Why does he call it ISIL? Rafael Elias September 16, 2014 This one is short, sweet, and to the point, and in answer to some friends that have posed that question to me. As much as Obama and his administration would like ti make us believe that two years’ worth of emails at the IRS can vanish into thin air, that there’s nothing to see in Benghazi, or that there was no shredding of documents at Hillary’s Department of State, the fact of the matter is that in this government there simply are no coincidences. Everything is calculated. Everything is political. Like Obama’s calling ISIS “ISIL”. So why exactly does he do that? The Islamic State (which is Islamic, by the way) is known by several acronyms being ISI the most common, the most widely used, and so far given its range of operations, the most relevant. It means (roughly translated) the Islamic State if Iraq and Syria. But there is indeed another acronym or name by which it is called, that of ISIL, which also roughly translates into the Islamic State of Iraq and The Levant (since Iraq is not part of the Levant itself historically or geographically but is nevertheless a target for the group). And here lies the reason for Obama’s preference to refer to these terrorists by this name. You see, the final objective of ISIS is to establish a wide regional Muslim caliphate on area that Muslims consider the crossroads of Western Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean and Northeast Africa and that today includes Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and part Turkey. By calling the group ISIL, Obama is basically validating their notion that Israel belongs to this set of Arab nations, which implies that the country is really and for philosophical purposes, still Palestine. If you notice, not only does Obama will not invalidate this notion but rather, by insisting on giving the terrorist group this name, what he is effectively doing is tacitly admitting that he also believes that Israel is somewhat of an unwelcome guest among the select group of Arab nations that constitute the above mentioned “gateway”. Like I said, nothing is a coincidence to Obama. He does not use the term ISIL to express some concern about the regional overreach of these terrorists but rather, to send a veiled message to Israelis of exactly who he thinks they are. It is like saying that the Islamic State is not Islamic. More examples of this individual showing all of us his true colors and evidence that for the most part the American people remain oblivious to this and all his shenanigans.
