I wrote this first party so it can be personal! Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, today I am making a commitment to let it go! I’m letting go of the things that have hindered my progress, my growth, my ability to live a liberated life. I am letting go of the people who caused me great pain, the bitterness for where I stand in this season, the anger that I hold toward others who have wronged me. I am letting go of the disappointment of self for poor decisions and bad choices I made that led me to this place in my life. You tell us to forget the former things and not to dwell on the past because You are doing a new thing. I believe You and I know You desire me to press toward the mark of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus. I am the obstacle standing in the way of my life being different. On this day, I am making a conscious decision to peel off the layers of “stuff” that has weighed me down impeding my growth. I declare I am free, I am flexible and I am ready to soar. I thank You for forming me for Yourself so that I praise You. I bless You now and give you my all in the mighty name of Jesus…AMEN!
