I wrote this for Gwen when i was in Costa Rica; probably one of my best works. Yesterday i was under a waterfall, Meditating and saying a prayer Hoping youll still care About all the time we spent And the way the hours bent So we could walk just a little slower to smell the roses. I thought running away to a place where the miles turn to kilometers would take all the pain away; But now im just looking for a way back. I swear i would sell the clothes off of my back just to backtrack. Actually; i dont care where im at. Just let my eyes taste that familiar face Before i turn to waste And waste this body you hold so close. I just wish youd announce what ive not been able to pronounce until now: I miss you.
