I wrote this song with Andy Davis for my Grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. They are going on 65 years in February. As we are praying for my Grandmothers recovery, I want to celebrate her life and their legacy... Our beautiful Bell (Bickel, Bundy, Postel, Jones) family. We are so blessed. My sweet but feisty Grandmother Tibbie Bell was the youngest of 5 and grew up very poor. She only had two dresses to her name and didnt have indoor plumbing till she married my Grandpa at 21. But he still thought that HE was the lucky one. She has selflessly cared for all of us, fed us, nurtured us, sang us to sleep, played games with us, listened to us, supported our dreams, cheered for us, sacrificed for us, taught us to pray, made us bleed blue, reminded us to fix our hair, made us laugh... Which often led to us making her pee... And she has always LOVED us... Unconditionally... For who we are. We love you Grandma, and we are all so grateful for the gift of life and love youve given to us. Its an honor to know you.
