IAESTE International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience provided work experience opportunities for students in over 80 countries - now open for registration. Call in to Room C91 for information and support with CV. Register by 27th November 2014. Application Guidelines STEP ONE Complete the online application by following the link provided. In preparation for this you will need to provide the following: 1. Your average percentage grade achieved in your exams for each academic year completed. 2. A 300 word personal statement as to why you are interested in an IAESTE placement. You statement should show evidence of the following: •Motivation and enthusiasm for international work experience •Range of personal/professional activities, interests, skills and experience •Understanding of benefits of placement for both yourself and potential employer •Adaptability including intercultural awareness and independence STEP TWO Once you have completed the online application you should immediately submit the following documentation to IAESTE UK by email: 1) An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae which must include a list of modules you have studied so far as part of your degree 2) A Tutor Recommendation Form (download below). (Your tutor can also submit directly to us by email) Please send both documents by email to [email protected] with your full name, university and course specified clearly in the body of the email by the deadline of 27 November. IMPORTANT Please be aware that you will be assessed and graded upon the following: 1) Your average academic results 2) Your Personal Statement 3) Presentation and content of your CV 4) Your Tutor Recommendation You must ensure to have completed and submitted all of the above in order to be considered for an IAESTE placement. Failure to submit any of the above before the deadline will result in a deduction of points in your overall assessment grade.
