IAJGS Public Records Access Alert from Jan Meisels Allen IAJGS Vice President & Chairperson, IAJGS Public Records Access Monitoring Committee I previously posted to this announcement list that the US Bureau of the Census Library had failed to renew its contract during the recent government shutdown and therefore was closed. I am delighted to announce that a new one-year contract was signed and the US Census Bureau Library is open. Due to sequestration the contract is only for one year—as with many US government agencies they are making short-term agreements.
