IBB & Buhari caused all the problems we are in today. If not for - TopicsExpress

IBB & Buhari caused all the problems we are in today. If not for Buhari, who scuttle a democratically elected govt. of Shagari & Ekwueme; our democracy & economy would hv been stronger and better by now. Shagari and Ekwueme had economic plans, that were targeted at transforming this country into a self sustaining country. So they plan the establishment of Ajakuta Steel (a turn key project) which was aimed at solving the nations problem of power generation, supply of steel for our industries, and towards fabrication of spare parts and later car manufacturing. Ajakuta was very central to the growth and development of our economy bcos it was going to solve the problem of power supply for businesses, homes and industries then feed our steel industries with raw materials and solve our spare problems by fabricating them (as at then Nig. imports steel and spare parts for her industries). So technologically, they wanted Nig. to start being self sustaining. The project was central to Shagaris administration & the economy so they wanted to speedingly finish it so that they can even use it as a scorecard for their re-election bid in 1984. The project was more than 50% completed. Which by now, we would hv gone far as a nation but the idiot call Buhari overthrew them in 1983. And he never continued with the project or brought any economic plan that can bring a turnaround; despite the undisputable economic gains of Ajakuta. Infact that was the death of many sectors of the economy. Whenever I pass through Ajakuta; I normally swear for Buhari. He prematurely killed a fine government (Shagaris administration) with his over sabi sabi. E no go better for am. Go read the book bros (Nigerian Economy). U will just vex with these ur stupid military generals who brought calamity upon us bcos of their illiteracy. Better OBJ I hv respect for him. His Operation Feed The Nation; was aimed at been a turn key policy of his regime, by reviving the agric sector that once sustained Nig. b4 the advent of oil and his sincerity of handing over power to a democratically elected govt. - Shagaris administration. That is why I keep asking u the supporters of GMB to pls & pls outline the projects and programmes of GMB (1983 - 1985) but u guys will alway say he is sincere when he enacted decree 20 and back dated it and now his certificate saga nko? Where is the sincerity??
