IBPS PO / MT CWE III Exam Pattern 2013 : Changes Made in the Exam Pattern *************************** IBPS PO CWE III (3) Exam Pattern 2013: In the earlier post we have analyzed the changes made in the eligibility conditions of IBPS CWE PO/MT III, as many changes have been made by the IBPS in the eligibility conditions of this year CWE of PO/MT 2013. Apart from the changes made in the Eligibility conditions there are also many changes have been made in the IBPS PO/MT CWE Exam pattern. In this post we are going to tell you about the changes made by the IBPS in its written exam pattern of this year. First of all please go through the Exam pattern of IBPS CWE PO/MT I & II and thereafter Exam Pattern of IBPS CWE PO/MT III 2013. Analysis of the changes made in this year IBPS PO Pattern: You can see the changes which have been made in the earlier IBPS PO Exams vis a vis this year IBPS PO Exam Pattern. The important changes have been pointed out and discussed here. Number of Questions: While in the first two IBPS PO Exams the number of questions in the objective part was 250 i.e. there were 50 questions in each of the five sections which mean there were total 250 questions of 225 marks. These 250 questions were to be attempted in 150 minutes. This year however the number of questions has not been disclosed by the IBPS and the time duration has been reduced by 30 minutes to 120 minutes. The weight of the Computer Knowledge Section has been reduceddrastically as this time the Computer Awareness Section will have only weight of 20 marks (10 % of total marks) whereas in the earlier IBPS PO Exam this section was having weight of about 22%. Time Duration: In the earlier IBPS PO Exam the composite time duration for Objective Tests was 150 minutes which has been reduced to 120 minutes exam. Generally Descriptive Test remains the integral part of the IBPS PO or any other PO exam. This will be probably first time that the descriptive test has been withdrawn from PO exam. Tips for the students for the New Pattern: With the change in pattern, the need of the hour is to focus more on increasing your speed because with no descriptive test this time, all focus will be on objective test. The merit and the cut off will further intensify in this exam. .
