IBPS changed the exam pattern for CWE for 2015-2016. The competent authority has decided to conduct two-tier examinations for recruitment of PO/MT and Clerks from CWE-V onwards. All the interested candidates applied for the PO/MT and Clerks from CWE-V are called for the prelims first. Then the shortlisted candidates are called for Mains examination. The Preliminary exam is for small duration with few questions reduced. Shortlisted candidates in the prelims are allowed for the Mains examination. The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be considered for preparing the final merit list and the marks obtained in the Main Examination will only be considered for short listing for interview. Only the marks scored in the Mains are considered for the final selection process.
