ICCO Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan facilitating the link between local farmers and Dutch business ... ICCO Cooperation in Central Asia together with local partners participated in Agro Business-Forum “Kyrgyzstan - Netherlands” that took place on 25 September 2014 to promote products of the local farmers as well as to build the possible future partnership with the Dutch business men. The event was initiated and organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. This business-forum was within the framework of the first ever Fact-finding visit of Dutch agricultural companies to the Kyrgyz Republic. The main aim of the business-forum was to familiarize Kyrgyz farmers and agricultural enterprises with the state-of-the-art technologies and products offered by Dutch agricultural companies. The program of the forum included presentations by 11 Dutch companies that operate in such fields as seeds, greenhouses, storage technologies, poultry, animal feed and agricultural research and consultancy.
